Along with his time living in the Philippines and in Hawaii, immersing himself in culinary adventures and local building materials, then traveling the world in search of sustainable gardens in places like Myanmar and Belarus —fuels his devoted interest in and passion for design.

Formally educated in architecture at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, Geoff also pursued global independent studies at Universita AIV di Venezia Italy.

Geoff's professional experience of more than 20 years has been shaped most significantly at the renowned architecture firm Backen Gillam Architects

where he worked closely with his long-time mentor Jim Gillam on projects in the Meatpacking District of New York, California, South Beach Miami Florida, Honolulu Hawaii and the Philippines.
